WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of young professionals who believe that young professionals are the untapped resource of the Muslim community. Intelligent, driven and skilled, when we harness the potential of these young professionals, the community will be a force to be reckoned with.
We believe in the power of the Internet. We believe it has the ability to inject the new to the old and will be able to connect young professionals to the community.
By creating a one stop Internet portal of all the activities in the Muslim community, we seek to provide a modern day platform for time strapped young professionals to be logged in to the community and to network with one another.
ABDUL HAKIM HAMID
He's the brainchild behind all the design and tech of this online platform. By day, he's a design engineer working on top secret projects, by night he works on his own personal projects - be it for his own recreation or for the community. Design prototyping is his strong suite and if you would need someone for ideas of design and tech, he is your go to guy. When technology is too much of a bore for him, he can be seen either running, swimming or cycling on his rest days.
NADIA YEO
She's the rose among the thorns in the team. She's highly passionate about the community and believes in making an impactful change from within. A brilliant and talented legal counsel, not only she provides pro bono services to the less priviledged, she is also actively involved in various non-profit organizations to champion a better living standard for the community. She's the group's public relations manager and has been working hard in engaging various organizations as partners for this project.
IBRAHIM MUSA
He's the guy behind the concept of this project. As a talent specialist, he realized that there is a massive amount of untapped potential in this community. Having seen this huge opportunity, he wanted to create a tool for the community to use and benefit. He can be seen playing a game of football at the Pitch when not working.
NADIM KAPADIA
He's the spoke person of our team when it comes to meeting new faces from different organizations. Being in the Foreign Service, Nadim gets to meet various diplomats and this puts him in the right position to meet and greet many different faces. As the spoke person of our team, he's eloquent and charismatic which complements our team's diversity in engaging many different people of various backgrounds. When he isn't working, you can find him with a book in a quaint cafe in the heart of the city.
MUHAMMAD RAIMI
Being the youngest in the team, Raimi has a keen eye for details. His daily job as an analyst in an airline company provides him with an analytical mind to solve problems. He is the team's problem solver when it comes to complex situations. Having studied abroad, he brings to the team a wide array of knowledge to dealing with people of varied backgrounds.
FIRDAUS HAMZAH
He's actively involved in various community projects. As a civil member, he believes in the empowerment of the community through positive change from within. Being big on ground up inititatives, he feels iLham has the right potential to bring a positive change the community. When you don't see him involved in community activities, he can be seen sparring away in Muay Thai kickboxing.
